| Description: Constructed from cabinet quality, veneer-core walnut plywood. The inside is coated with a durable water-based finish originally developed for flooring. The outside is clad in reclaimed barnboard that is left uncoated. The facing (front and back) and the shelving are made from steel sheet metal, sealed with polyurethane to prevent rusting and excessive scratching. The shelving is mortised into the cabinet thereby not requiring any visible fasteners, and inset from the front and back edges by an inch. The steel facing is fastened to the unit by heavy duty contact cement. 4 swivel casters make moving easy. Shelving can accommodate most DVD players, satellite receivers etc. as well as DVDs in cases. Can support up to 225 lbs on top. | ||
